Yesterday's language wasted in today - Monika Rinck reads from her new poetic project "Gegrüßet seiest Du, angehaltene Natur", in which she deals with afterlife topographies, eschatology and the gradual transition from mobility to immobility.

Monika Rinck lives as a writer and translator in Berlin and Cologne and has been publishing poems, essays and translations with various publishers since 1998. In 2012, her poetry book HONIGPROTOKOLLE was published, for which she received the Huchel Prize, followed by the reading book CHAMPAGNER FÜR DIE PFERDE (Fischer Verlag) in spring 2019. She cooperates with musicians and composers and translates from English and, together with Orsolya Kalász, from Hungarian and, with other cooperation partners, from Slovenian and Swedish.
