In 2013, the festival reoriented its focus to literary short film or poetry film. The Art Visuals & Poetry Film Festival was Austria's first Poetry Film Festival. For the time being the film programming was curated. The festival saw itself as a showcase of domestic filmmaking.

ART VISUALS & POETRY was supported by the grand seigneur of the Austrian poetry film Hubert Sielecki, who put together a fresh text film program of local film makers for the festival. In addition to self-produced works mainly young filmmakers were selected, who had presented their short films at the Hubert Sielecki Prize. The program was supplemented by the artists starsky, Ilse Kilic and Gudrun Krebitz, Hubert Sielecki and Sigrun Höllrigl.
